Hi everyone! My name is Kaiwen Wang. I enter CSUSB Instructional Design and Technology program in 2024 and this is the second master degree I am pursuing. I have been teaching Mandarin for three year and get a MEd degree during this time. Now I am coming back as a full-time graduate student to seek a deeper understanding on how to use instructional design and technology to help K-12 educators improve their ability.

My experience in the IDT program has deepened my understanding of IDT history, key theories, while shaping my educational philosophy and tech vision. I gained practical design skills using instructional models, developed research abilities to critique and apply studies, and learned to select and effectively use technologies, integrating theory to meet diverse learning needs.

My strength is Photoshop. And I am trying my best to learn technology tools in this program. During my spare time, I am a swimming and marathon lover. Hope to finish my 10th marathon this year!
